I’m going to go out on a twig and say drugs. BTW, porn stars are as trashy as Airline Highway prostitutes. Only much better looking.

There was a time in my life as a young person that I consumed porn pretty much everyday and didn't have a second thought about it. As I got older and learned more about the industry and how evil and twisted it is, I just couldn't indulge in it anymore. It's like once I saw behind the curtain, I couldn't continue in my ignorance.
It's an awful thing, the porn industry. It's wild to me that some of the same folks who told Bud Light to kick rocks because of principles and ethics are still avid porn consumers. Once I became aware that the industry props up and facilitates rape, sexual assault, coercion, human trafficking, drug abuse, suicide, murder, etc. I just couldn't stick my head in the sand and pretend it's all okay.
I know this won't be popular and i'll probably get downvoted, but I'd urge people to ask themselves why they are so defensive of an industry that does that to people.

Ever heard the old expression "if something is free, you're the product."?
The money is in the advertising which goes to my point about why I fight to keep porn out of my life. All the tube sites are owned by basically the same handful of parent companies. These PC's effectively receive dollars from advertisements with every click we as the consumer make. This is why it's short sighted to convince ourselves that we aren't part of the problem when we click on porn because we only watch videos that feature known, adult pornstars who are there of their own accord. Even if you select videos that are of completely legal adults, your clicking of the tube sites in general adds to the ad revenue collected by these PC's, the same PC's that use their money and influence to perpetuate the underaged, coerced, groomed, SA, etc. type videos we see on platforms like PornHub.
That's what finally helped me to see the light on why porn should have no part in my life. Yes, I may be watching a famous pornstar who is clearly there of her own desire but how many of my attention dollars have gone to the production of films featuring underaged girls? Coerced women? Revenge porn? Films featuring rape and drugged women. I just couldn't look at myself and pretend that it's a good thing for me to support this industry anymore.
