This spring, we've had I don't know how many tornadoes touch down either in our parish or one immediately next to us. Never happened before. It's frightened myself, the GF (no pics), pets, family, etc. It's interrupted work. It's interrupted weekends. We've lost sleep over it. I've considered creating a will two or three times this spring alone, and I'm in my mid-'20s. The amount of tornadoes in the whole region has been dangerous this year. That, on top of the rain itself.

You can take your brown-ish yard and shove it up your arse along with all the tornadoes and the great floods from a couple years ago. I'm good on rain for a while.

You need a 30-something year old pasty white guy with a hairy dad bod to come mow your lawn without a shirt? I can get extra sweaty for you.

You know the drier the ground gets, the harder it gets. Which means when we do finally get a lot of rain at one time, there will be huge run-off problems leading to flooding. It's much better for an area to get an inch of rain every week or so rather than weeks and weeks with no rain.

We did this. And now the flowers I have in planters are dying because I forget to water them

I usually just water the greens. Hard dry fairways make for nice long drives

You have really been on a fricking roll lately. You trying to be a douche or does it just come naturally? You literally advocated for the killing of children recently.

I did no such thing. I value human life, as we are all God’s creatures.

I simply stated that nature has a way of selecting the fittest among us and that if a child repeatedly runs out into the road, there’s a chance said child may not have been blessed with the faculties to make it. That’s not to say the child shouldn’t make it. It’s just to say that if said child makes it, he will probably have children that also have a predisposition to walking in front of cars.

It was just an observation.

No, you're right. But I'm very much cool with holding off for a while if that means water holding longer when it does come, so long as we're not talking legitimate flooding.
