SUB I'm not as young as you would think, I'm 33. My problem is I tried the whole "stop trying" method and that completely did not work for me.

Usually I would agree but this woman was literally perfect for me. Same interests, looking for the same things in a partner, same age, everything. I could send you our long messages, we did have a connection.
I completely understand what you are trying to say and I agree, you really have no clue until you meet the woman in person. But I truly believe I lost her by 2 freaking days. If I had said "hey, lets meet up Thursday" my guess is we are planning a second date and the other guy is not even considered.
I guess I'm just saying that seems to be my dating luck. :(
