The university is responding to the hate hoax by forming an "equity and social justice group" to "prevent incidents of hate on campus."
"After two incidents of racist remarks written on Viterbo University resident halls doors, and a subsequent investigation, the college is trying to take the next steps to learn from this difficult situation. President Glena Temple says they are forming a new student led Equity and Social Justice Group to include student input while working to prevent incidents of hate on campus."

So they are forming a group to prevent hate in response to a hoax? They admit that a hate crime did not occur, yet they are going to spend money on a group to prevent hate crimes. Brilliant. How about forming a group to prevent hoaxes? That seems to be their problem.

No. What they mean is that the remaining person of interest, for the graffiti, is the same one who started the fire, and she has been kicked off campus. They can’t come out and say that, because they can’t prove it.

We realize that the previous Bigfoot incident was proven unequivocally to be a complete lie but, in response, we will be forming an official, and comprehensive, Bigfoot commission to ensure all Bigfoot matters are taken seriously and handled with the utmost urgency and respect. We believe the Bigfoot, despite absolutely no evidence whatsoever, is a real issue on this campus and we'll take every step necessary to prevent any Bigfoot issues in the future.
