Like in NYC when cops hit some bystanders and tried to charge the suspect for it?

That's SOP as it should be. Do you not think that if the suspect had not broken a law that the bystanders wouldn't have been hurt?

Depends on the scenario. Having cops that aren't fricking awful at their job would help as well.

So the minute a law is broken cops have zero responsibility for any of their actions?

They just don't get it. If he never threw the rock, nothing bad would have happened. You cannot throw rocks at a cop.

Much longer video with post shooting footage

Thanks, man.

Holy shite, though, this must be a regular occurrence in that city because no one is freaking the frick out. Either that or these guys are immigrants from Mexico and have seen some serious shite in their lives (the city's demographics are roughly 40% Hispanic). If I saw a guy get gunned down by police, I think I'd be freaking the frick out.

This is sad.

I'm a little confused by the person recording the video too. How the hell can he watch and record this and have zero reaction?

Not that this needs to be discussed. Just a random thought.

If they're aiming at bystanders, sure they do. If they are trying to neutralize a threat and there is an unfortunate outcome for an innocent person, I think the fault lies more with the perp than the cop.

It's easy to pass judgement until you are placed in what could potentially be seen as a life or death situation. Not many people will just stand tall in a hail of gunfire or a knife fight like in the movies

TIL throwing a rock is a death sentence.

hopefully someone tells kids at the playground they might get killed for an innocent act.

no you cannot. But its more of the impatient pussification of the cops shooting the guy. There was no rush. Not to mentioned they missed him from 5ft away before he ran across the street.

We get it. But in real life you don't shoot people over rock throwing. Only cops do that.
