Another day in how to build infrastructure in NOLA

Streets around the new Holy Cross are being resurfaced. Many of them need to be replaced. While out walking this weekend, I noticed jobs end 20-40' before the corners and several drains are obstructed and below the curbs. Driveways will also have to be corrected bc of this beautiful work. Nola is fricked.

Didn't we do this already or did they do ANOTHER project where the street elevation doesn't jive with the elevation of anything around it?

That was lakeview, this is several blocks away. They are replacing the Lakeview frick ups. It's like they never learn.

This is another one. The situation you are thinking about happened not too far away in West Lakeview.

The driveway next to this drain had about a 4-5" drop off. We certainly hire the brightest workers.

Are these contracts awarded to a 3rd party? General maintenance Dept.? S&WB? Who maintains the streets?
