I guess that means you hold the position that 100% of pit attacks are due to bad owners and that good owners have never had a pit suddenly attack with no prior history? If not, do you just accept the risk as part of owning a pit?

If your pit comes to my house, he won’t exist anymore.

Stfu. When your "pet" is running around killing people, I'm rightfully worried about it. People control guns but they can't control pitbulls. You sound like you live in a trailer park.

i'm sorry people need bad dogs to protect their shite. quit stealing it.

it's funny how yall are about "shall not be infringed" but don't respect the rights of dog owners to own whatever breed they want

I can own a gun without worrying it is going to randomly shoot people when I'm not around.

I'd like to see more severe punishments to animal owners who own a knowingly dangerous breed and don't take extreme caution with locking them up.

two things that, if you lock up, they can't work as intended. when seconds matter you don't want to be looking for the key to your gun case or trying to remember where you stashed it.

likewise when someone breaks in your dog is useless if he's in a kennel

Your dog isn’t for self defense
Your dog isn’t protected by the constitution
You dog randomly attacks innocent people, if it just attacked the owners it would be a nonissue and it’s obviously something the owners can’t control

Not a great comparison baw

Again, I've been bit by two cocker spaniels, a German shepherd, and a mutt. Never a pit bull.

Obligatory pit bull isn't a breed. It's at least 4 breeds lumped together.

the frick it ain't

if you can't handle a pit, don't get it, but don't punish the people that can

The point that obviously flew over your head is that you lived. Please pay attention, it doesn't cost anything.

Are you frickin serious??

So just let your pit roam free and bite whomever he chooses because it's convenient for you??

I'm not. I just think it's time to outlaw the breeding of one type of "pet".

I own dogs that would probably bite at or nip a child if the child was poking them in the eye, pulling ears too hard, or hurting them somehow. That is every dog.. ...but 95% of all dogs will stop once warned...

Pit Bulls kill.. they are just a little over 5% of all dogs but kill more than the 95% of all other breeds combined... then double that number... and they still kill more humans.

From a recent Forbes Magazine... not libs either, a right leaning, conservative, hard core capitalist lifestyle promoting magazine:

For those people that can't fathom the concept of outlawing or requiring a permit to own a pitbull... realize there are many animals you aren't legally allowed to own. Like a tiger.

I think it's a state issue and I'd like to see legislature for pitbulls.
