Another day another OT "Sources" that say Louisiana has the COVID-19 debunked

Can we get a moratorium on OT experts and "sources" that are posting all over here and PT about how Louisiana has confirmed cases "just wait for the news this morning, by the end of the day" etc.
This is feeding into the hysteria and a prime example of what fake news and media does to people. They hear something, likely a rumor, and want to be the first to "break" it so they come post it here. I've seen for 4 days now people talking about LA has positive tests yet nothing is ever actually getting reported.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not naive. I know it's coming here and likely soon but can we stop posting our "sources from Dr. and hospitals" that's "going to hit the news soon"?
People were lashing out at me yesterday bc I debunked the Monroe rumor with an actual news link from the area.
And I'm sure this post will age like milk, and I don't care let's talk about actual results.

The fake rumors about confirmed cases are probably stupid and deserving of ridicule. But also kind of irrelevant considering that facebook moms aside, there are very likely cases in LA already

Yep. I know for a fact that local BR media monitors the OT and I have no doubt that if they saw that thread yesterday, they made some calls to find out. If it were true, or even if someone was being monitored for corona in Louisiana, the media would've sent alerts out immediately upon them getting word from a real, ACTUAL, source.
