I am 100% in favor of deleting the whole species.

This is a biker gang thread now, I'm not sure how it went from pit bull to biker gangs tho

Article says 80 to 100 pound pit bull.
Sounds like an Amecian Bully breed as opposed to a pure pit. Big difference.
All of these stories seem to involve the American Bully as opposed to a pure pit.

I'm going to find one and wear it on my suit and then attend a biker rally.

I don't know what's worse. The fact that another child is dead, or the fact just because it attacked and killed, and "APPEARED to be 80-100 pound Pit Bull", another pit bull thread brings all the idiots saying to ban the breed.

Exterminate every single one of them and anything that even resembles one.

So...dogs in general?
Should we go around killing the demographics responsible for the most murders and "anyone who resembles them"?
This line of reasoning is just ignorant.

We did it to the Nazis.

And the Nazis did it to others.
Should we have just killed all the Germans?

No it isn't. It's a dog. Get another breed and put an end to the ever growing line of dead and maimed young children.
The only ignorance in this thread comes from those that continuously try to defend pit bulls after a deadly attack.
It's once or twice a week now.
enough is enough.

Hell no then we wouldn't have gotten well engineered cars

I don't have any dogs.
Then let's ban fireworks, pellet guns, go karts, etc.
I'm not defending pit bulls as pointing out that the "kill em all" stance is shortsighted and ignorant.
You don't think the owners are the problem most of the time?

But...but...but...
They resembled killers!
Let's kill them all and anyone who remotely looks like them. Grargh!!!

It all depends on how these dogs are brought up. Yes pit bulls get a bad rap, however this is do to ignorant people who lock there dogs up in cages for weeks only to let them out on chained collars with locks around their necks. They've never had any interaction with humans other than when these people decide they want to fight them or chain them outside to a post. As a result , these animals are angry and have no experience with handling human reaction. If you ask me, I might also be pretty pissed off given their treatment. These dogs are often abused, the newest thing I've seen recently with out of the pits we handle is pouring battery acid on their back. Then the throw them in a back yard full of children, who no matter what kind of dog you have you should be cautious with. Pulling on tails and lying on top of them are things that dogs may feel threatened by and is also what every child given the chance loves to do to their puppy. But once again do it to a dog who has had no social interaction whatsoever and has been badly Abused makes them feel threatened, and therefore their natural reaction is to attack.
If you ask me, it's not the breed with the problem, it's the ignorant people who own this breed. If you look at the owners whose dogs attack, they're to blame. Would you ever allow your dog around a potentially dangerous animal if you had any doubt? Most these owners whose dogs attacks can barely take care of their children, much less a dog.
And yes, I have experience. I currently have a pit bill, who my 4 lb chihuahua attacks on a regular basis and she does nothing. I would trust her with my new born as well as anybody else's child. So before you jump to conclusions on the nature of this breed, take a look at the circumstances surrounding these attacks. After all, this breed once was considered nanny dogs, as they were often used to watch after small children in the 1800s. If you ask me, it's not the dogs who have changed, but their owners.

well how do you feel about cars? They seem to be involved in the deaths of kids daily. I understand what you are trying to say, just disagree that the breed should be banned. Its pointless. We banned murder and drugs.
Hows that working?
