Annual 30A - Best Beaches Thread

It's that time of the year again. Water is warming up, girls will be in bikinis, and Tigerdroppings discusses the best beaches.
There really isn't much discussion about where the best beaches are. What is new in the south Walton area compared to last year? Are there any new restaurants to try? What's the best place to rent a bicycle?

True story. Went to Panama City for a concert, stayed in Destin, stopped along 30A. Took beach all the way to Pensacola, then over to Orange Beach to stay with family a few days. On that trip Orange Beach was hands down the prettiest of the 2-3 hour stretch. I couldn't believe it either.

My vote is between Montauk and East Hampton. Stay away from the Jersey Shore.
