Last I checked State legislatures hadn’t tried to make Christian marriages illegal.

They made the mistake of thinking their customer base liked their product and not it's social status, once they damaged that there was nothing to fall back on like actual taste.

Well it is pretty hard to marry 2 men or 2 women. Kind of defeats the purpose. Hence the hang up on it being legal.
