I just don't see how that's possible. You don't have to be a genius to know how this would go. Bud Light offers nothing unique. They aren't the best, they aren't the cheapest. Absolutely nothing stands out about them amongst their competition.

Can we talk about how stupid Marketing employees are in general? Doing simple things like changing the color of your logo, font, etc can cause massive ripples in your bottom line. Yet, they do this type of thing and call it a "brand refresh" hoping beyond hope it doesn't backfire. And companies do it all the time and have to backtrack.
Just the history of small marketing changes like these that have caused issues for companies should be enough to make people really scrutinize any public facing marketing changes. Yet, apparently we are to believe that AB just allowed this to happen with zero oversight? It probably took 12 executives to approve adding words like "cool" and "refreshing" to their branding.
