You lose these privileges when you go to prison. Let’s let them go to weddings and funerals too now. Let’s them get jobs and take vacations.

I don't know. It seems like a positive visitation. It's as much for the daughters than anything. Video said they were selected, so maybe they somewhat earned this with good behavior? I don't know, but I think there can be good that comes from this. The message was positive.
I might be more bitter depending upon knowing what they did, but at the same time, I do appreciate the effort to become a better impact on their daughter's lives. I like how the daughters seem to get the most emotional at receiving the bibles from them. I thought that was interesting.

In most instances, they fricked up, it wasn't a mistake but a conscious, likely ongoing, choice. However, one thing that is consistent in studies looking at redicung residavism is that continued connection with the outside world has one of the biggest positives impacts.
Things like this are good for the prisoner, good for their families and also is a positive for society.

I would bet that the more violent criminals, i.e. the crime that they committed, aren't eligible for this type of thing. You wouldn't put someone in prison for rape in a situation like this with another prisoner in there for murder. Even though they're receiving fellowship and progressing positively during their time in jail, it would be a horrible look if something went sideways.

Obtuse is right. If these things are good for their children and help the prisoners and society by reducing recidivism, what's the issue? Who benefits if they come out of prison more harsh and violent than when they went in?

frick those prisoners. Their daughter’s are better off without their criminal asses in their life. How many daughters lives, including their own, have these pieces of shite fricked up? I don’t care about their desperate acting like they care now. They have been lying pieces of shite most of their life. Don’t think this showing of “love” is any different. Most of them would get out of prison and never see their daughters anyway.
