Moving troops to the AO to be able to out them into Iran in a matter of hours rather than days makes sense. It ups the pressure on Iran and lets them know the stick is close by.

Cannot remove the threat unless you "bring the boots".

Not a fan of getting involved with land wars in Asia, but how can we trust but verify if we do not send people to verify?
