It was early-mid December 2010 and it was quite a glorious two weeks. No more capital blue LINK, just a video...right in front of you...
.. and then some guy made a YouTube babe thread and it got shuttered.

It was a fantastic couple of weeks.
Couldnt enjoy it as much as I would have liked as I was in Bora Bora at the time

I thought some guy exploited the code and made the whole site cause people's computers to go haywire.

Some dude exploited the Javascript and made the embedded video such that it would continuously open new instances of your internet browser (only for some browsers) and I think that is what killed this feature
dude got the permaban even though I'm pretty sure he had good intentions of just pointing out there was a security exploit
