Doesn't LSU require that every single student complete an alcohol awareness class? If that's still happening, it's clearly not effective.

Alcohol isn't the cause of these deaths. It's the shite they are mixing it with.

You can't "train" your way out of everything.

We don't educate kids on the dangers of alcohol until it's too late. It's a cultural thing. MADD wanted the law changed to 21 so we just don't teach kids anything about booze until they get an education from fellow ignorant peers.

That’s a very valid point. Any alcohol education is a no no. Other than the evils of it or that it is illegal. And the 21 thing is huge. They hit college and lose their minds. My 21st birthday I did assloads of shots.

A source of mine is saying he was a DKE and the cause was Xanax and alcohol, as mentioned before.

What a strange, strange bump.

Did it really take you a year and a half to come up with “frick you”?

Autopsy reveals LSU student Benjamin Balser's death was result of mixing alcohol, drugs

Staff ReportsNov 15, 2017
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office's autopsy of University student Benjamin Balser revealed his death was the result of "combined effects of cocaethylene, alprazolam and alcohol." The office determined Balser's death was accidental.

Alprazolam is commonly sold as Xanax. Cocaethylene is a chemical that develops in the liver as the result of using alcohol and cocaine concurrently.

Balser was found dead in his off-campus apartment over the weekend of Oct. 13. He was the third University student to have died in the fall 2017 semester.
