Take the "Old" Bridge from False River.

Dont waste your money to hangout in that nasty arse water. Plenty of places in East Texas with great water and secluded lakes.

Audubon Bridge is easy to cross.

I’m going with False River. It’s much prettier too.

We have been on the Diversion for 17 years and love it. Busy on the weekends in the summer, calm the rest of the time. Going into downtown BR in the morning at the busy time, expect the traffic to add only 7-8 minutes.

False River for everything but the commute. Even coming across the Audubon Bridge, that's one hell of a hike every day just to get to work.

I don't think I have ever heard False River called pretty.

If you’re married with kids; false river.

If you want to hang out with friends and hit multiple bars/ restaurants all weekend; Diversion or Tickfaw

Edit: I’d do tickfaw over diversion.

Same here. Locals having a dream of enjoying False River’s beauty everyday once again confirms I made the right decision to move to Texas.

I've been on the Diversion for about 5 years now and I commute into BR daily. I don't mind it at all. It's probably a better commute than from Denham IMO. Surprisingly the flood insurance is cheap ( $700/yr) and I didn't flood in 16. and not on stilts. That being said I'm actually transferring out of state soon and it will be up for sale

Really depends on where in BR you work and what normal work hours are. I have been driving to BR from False River for last 20 years and for me traffic is never an issue. I cross Old Bridge.
