UPDATE: There was no patient in an ambulance when it was stolen earlier this morning. Police say the ambulance was at a loading bay at Mobile Infirmary when the suspect decided to hop in the ambulance and take it for a joy ride.

It was stolen from Emogene/Williams or that’s where they chased it to? This is a solid neighborhood.

If doctors weren't so stingy with handing out painkillers these kinds of things wouldn't happen.

Watching the video now - the cops and ambulance are all at the corner of Williams and what I assume is Emogene. I'm guessing maybe the crash into a police car is what caused the ambulance to stop

I don't mean to laugh, I hope that the person didn't have a life threatening injury, but can you imagine being in that ambulance as the patient?
