This honestly looks look an April Fool's joke, but they claim it's 100% legit. I might actually use this if true for things like paper towels, soap, and 55 gallon drums.
Seriously though, it's a pretty good way to advertise for free too.

How hard is it to just grab your phone, and open your recent orders and click "one-touch order?"
We do this already with Dog Food...

it's nice till your kid hits it 200 times and you miss the alert on your phone

It's not hard, but this just makes it that much easier.

That would never work in a house with children.
Can you imagine them just pushing the button to do it. Then all of a sudden you get 35 things of Tide delivered to your door.

Surely they've thought of that, right.

Guarantee Amazon would refund 100% of the order/delivery/cover all costs to restock and probably give you a gift card if this happened and you brought it to their attention.
Nothing they have ever done would suggest otherwise.

That's freakin awesome. I wish they had this with prescription medicine as well. Very convenient.

Teenage boys get a Dash button for boxes of kleenex and lotion

Subscribe and Saves already does this automatically, and has removed the need for a Sam's our Costco membership. I bet the button won't have the standard 20% off discount either.
The only stuff I buy from a store are fresh groceries these days. Everything else (paper towels, toilet paper, baby formula, diapers, dry food) ships free from Amazon on a predetermined schedule at a discount to the retail and regular Amazon price.

From the tech board, from Amazon

Unless you elect otherwise, Dash Button responds only to your first press until your order is delivered.

If thats an April Fools prank, its not very funny and pretty extensive. Not to mention its a fantastic freaking idea.
Theres a website, and it looks legit.

I've thought of using that....however I don't know exactly how often I need stuff. Seems like keeping up with the schedule on different stuff would be a hassle.

My complaint with Subscribe and Save is I can't choose the exact time frame I need the item delivered. We go through the dog food bag in 5 weeks, not 4. So it won't align with when we actually need the items.

Seems like they partnered with only certain brands so if you don't use Tide, you're SOL.

they should have made these customizable for whatever product a person needs.
But I do have and use the Amazon Echo (NSA Spy tool). I actually love it and find it very handy

They send you emails before anything ships, you can always adjust the frequency or skip all or part of any delivery. You'll never shop at Sam's, Wal-Mart or Walgreens again.
