MEM is the second busiest airport in the world, and has been for a very long time now.

I ordered some books last week. The free two-day shipping was plenty fast enough.

UPS handles significantly more Amazon packages that FedEx.

I believe it accounts for around 6% of UPS sales compared to FedEx’s 3%.

How the hell cant it reach Memphis within the day being FedEx’s Headquarters? It used to be technically the busiest airport in the United States thanks to FedEx. It can make it to fricking Midland and Amarillo in 24 hours and not Memphis? I find that hard to believe.

I have never had a FedEx delivery from Amazon and haven't had a non Amazon delivery in years. It's all either their own white vans or someone in their own car delivering for Amazon. It's like GrubHub or Uber eats.

Based on what metric? I think Atlanta is still #1 in both passengers and movements and Chicago and Bejing are #2 in movements and passengers respectively.

Memphis isn't even on the list for passenger traffic. They're 2nd for cargo pet ACI just about every year.

Mobile, AL has a fulfillment/sorting center and they can’t have packages delivered in one day?

This map/analysis is crap.

I believe the second or third post questioned Memphis

There are at least 5 Amazon warehouses in Memphis. I've got same day deliveries before.

I just ordered something with a price of 5.67 with free Prime shipping that will be here tomorrow.

No way they are making anything on that.

*I've bought more than enough to offset the Prime shipping so they aren't making it off that.

The city of New Orleans/Kenner is about to have a lot of airport lame open up that's interstate, rail and ship adjacent.
Someone needs to put together a plan.

Trust me, there’s ALREADY a plan in place.

Anyone use this and know if they charge more, or is it included in Prime?

Slight correction, it's the second busiest cargo airport in the world. Only Hong Kong (HKG) is larger.
