Amazon.com has applied for a permit to build a distribution center just off Airline Highway and Interstate 12, near Costco

Maybe even Prime Now for limited items. That would be huge for Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

But awful for the malls.

Amazon is racist for not putting this in NBR.

ETA: This is kind of fun finding racist shite in everything. I just got "woke" to this.

Surprised he isn’t organizing a boycott because it isn’t being built in beautiful north Baton Rouge.

It was dead a long time ago. It's just been in a vegetative state because some family member is too stupid to just pull the plug.

Yeah, If it was on the other side of 12, he'd be taking credit. Now they're the enemy until he gets his hush money

Who actually shops at the malls anymore? I haven't been to Mall of LA in a couple of years, and then it was just to kill some time while the Apple Store fixed my MacBook. I'd estimate that 75% of the "patrons" that I saw were pants-saggers just walking around making people uncomfortable.
