it's not 2013 anymore. lots of IPAs are good.

I understand people like them. I just don't understand the amount of them on tap. They're not particularly palatable in my opinion. I'll have one every now and then and It reminds me that I can't get the appeal. They're marketed really hard, but I think they're just too damn hoppy.

There’s definitely an element of bars carrying them on tap in large quantities just to say they are.

I frickin love sour beers but they can get pretty damn expensive and most of the cheaper bars don't have any

Craft beer enthusiasts are moving back towards lagers this summer, so enjoy macro brews skyrocketing as a result.

I do miss a good west coast ipa that you really don’t see anymore.

They started making a come back 3 or 4 years ago and now a lot of breweries have at least 1 west coast and some have 2 or 3.

I'm either brown ale to stout dark or rolling with a sour. I've had so many bad sours last couple years though. Still haven't had an ipa I'd purposely buy, and i try a reasonable assortment.

Yeah same here. No clue how that became the in thing. And I agree about the brown ale and dark stouts

Rally Cap has a great West Coast IPA that should be coming back soon. Possibly one of the best I’ve ever had.

It’s $9 though.

Nah. Chicks see my $9 Abita pale ale and know I’m OT baller status. It’s a flex.

It’s even worse. I drank a few of those Heineken 0.0% beers while mini golfing with my kids and they were $7 a pop.
