Yeah I can remember when you had to worry about if someone had the negatives to any pics

All things being said. I will say when I was single it didn't take me long to figure out it was frighteningly easy to get naked pics sent from girls. More often than you would think. Especially with the advent of snapchat.

I don't really understand it.

In which case you should learn what "privacy" really is.

And WTF does "gun-toting" have to do with this?

If you don't want something to ever be seen by others, don't take it in the first place.

Troof.

Amount of risque/nude pics was definitely inversely proportional to intelligence, for the most part.

With some self esteem stuff thrown in

What's crazy is that even after the numerous times pics/vids of posters gets leaked on here via mass backchannel emails.....more still send pics/vids out thinking they can trust the posters they send them to.

It's also cost a few people their jobs if I remember right. I've asked two posters specifically what they would do if their kids found out they posted here, and both didn't really have a great answer. Imagine if their kids got these pics/videos. This place is known for chewing people up, like the Norantable story. There are numerous other examples here as well.

And then some day later there may be a breakup. And he may remember he had this pic still on his phone .... and some revenge posting of this pic ... Things just aren't thought through sometimes.

Yeah that is one reason why I wouldn't send nudes to a guy I was dating.

Breakups sometimes are ugly....so are divorces. Don't give them additional fuel to burn you with.

This so much.

It's why if I have any serious bitching to do, I just call someone instead of texting.

People are nut jobs after breakups, and I know I've had someone that I dated for 6 months threaten to print out packets of our conversations and hand them to our mutual friends.

I feel for their invasion of privacy, but at the same time they don't have to live a life with consequence other than of their social status.

I dont feel sorry for anyone who trusts apple with anything. And if you take naked pictures of yourself and store them on a public mass cloud storage server over which you have no control at all and expect privacy you're dumb. Same goes if you send naked pictures over the internet or your phone. Buy a camera that has built in storage and use that. You can hook it up to your TV or computer and it is impossible for some to hack into a camera sd card or hard film. Keep that camera in a safe place and it is literally impossible for this to happen.

All of this. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

In one way, yes.

However, it was very unwise for them to take them and store them either on their phone or in the cloud.

Plus, easily 90% of them sent them to a third party, running the risk of a jilted ex posting them.

To be fair.. One of the first options when setting up your iPhone is to select 'secure online backup' of important data.

These people aren't rocket scientists.. They just set their phone up the same way 99% of iPhone users do.

i explained this in the other thread that this conversation should be had in

we all seek attention. the vast majority of girls in developed western countries seek self-affirmation via sexual approval

sending naked pictures is a way to gain this.
