Am I the only one who does not like leftovers?

And I am talking food here. My family, every one of them, love leftovers, period. I am older than most and have never liked leftovers. Especially Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner stuff. I am one and done on those big dinners.

While they all eat left over turkey today, I have a nice ribeye for the grill tonight. I will eat leftover pizza or spaghetti but for the most part, I do not want any part of leftover food'

Anyone else?

I know one or two people like this.

We call them spoiled snowflakes.

Nah, bruh. You too good for leftovers. Leftovers are just for us commoners. I get it.

Has nothing to do with the cost for me. Its more about eating the same thing over and over.

My brother is the same way. Your issues are probably one or more of these:
A. You suck at reheating stuff so that it still tastes as good the next day
B. You have an aversion to eating the same thing multiple times in a week.
C. You suck at saving money.
D. You don't cook.
E. You don't have enough creativity to think of ways to utilize leftovers to create new meals out of leftover ingrediants (like using a leftover turkey carcass to make a gumbo, using leftover stuffing in an omelette, ect)

As far as my dad is concerned, if it's in the fridge overnight, might as well throw it out, he's not eating it. OTOH if I like something, I'd just as soon have it every day for a week.

Eating spaghetti right now from Wednesday. Cooked it 5 hours on Wednesday but doesn't matter...better today.

You're missing out.

If I had to pick one of your choices, Id go with B.

Now E is intriguing. If we could do gumbo out of leftover turkey, Id be good with it. But left over dressing and casseroles are not my thing

I fried the turkey yesterday, I injected it with creole butter. I smoke the duck, probably should have injected it too, but I glazed it with honey and balsamic. I'm using the left over meat from both to make a platter of sliders using sweet rolls later tonight.

ETA: I will make some tetrazzini with the turkey as well.

Spaghetti is one that I like the next day. Agree on that one. Same with Chili

But not Turkey, dressing and casseroles...
