quote:I can agree with you there. I'm not very big on eating left over sides myself. I have found that if you heat them in the oven instead of the microwave they do taste a little bit better. Not wasting perfectly good protein though.
Now E is intriguing. If we could do gumbo out of leftover turkey, Id be good with it. But left over dressing and casseroles are not my thing

Yeah, greenbean casserole tastes pretty mediocre out the microwave. That's what toaster ovens were invented for. I haven't figured out a fun way to make that better, but I bet it would be pretty good mixed in an omelette with a little cranberry sauce and a spritz of siracha.

don't know about that. I'm intrigued about how an eggs would taste cooked in duck fat though. I know that duck fat gravy was the bomb

Pretty damn good, tbh

I'm definitely going to use some, along with bacon fat, in my sausage gravy in the morning. My turkey and duck sliders are going to be good tonight.

I'm just picky with leftovers. I don't eat leftover meat-and-3 plates, but I'll eat some leftover spaghetti. Still, I can really only eat it once more before I'm sick of it.

Screw that! Now I don't have to cook for the next few meals

I'm using the left over meat from both to make a platter of sliders using sweet rolls later tonight.

Just you I guess since I and almost everyone I know will gobble up leftovers with the quickness. I may eat leftovers from a meal maybe 3-4 times, especially gumbo or RB&R!

I'm with you on leftovers. Preach, brother.
EDIT: Now, this does not include making a big pot of gumbo, spaghetti sauce, soup, etc., that you eat and freeze the rest. Those aren't leftovers. Those are paused meals.
