Yeah, there are and were some big companies up there.
LA used to audit a lot of them and sent one particular auditor up there to deal with them.
She would stay with a college friend while up there and give his house number as her contact number while up there.
They would call it and then shite themselves when they realized it was Hubert H Humphrey’s house (former MN Senator and VP), meaning they couldn’t just bully her into submission.

The go-to move would be to find a brewery or two to check out before we have to be at the airport.
A Sunday in August means that the Twins likely have an early afternoon game if they are at home. Consider heading to North Loop and hitting up the Fulton and Modist breweries and maybe part of the game.

It compares size wise to somewhere like Denver. Small big city. Seemed like a great place to me when I spent a week there, but anyone who lives year around in the weather in the Northeast is crazy.

We were involved with a high rise development there. Penthouse went for 8 figures. I was shocked.

Have you actually been to any cities? It is a midsize city with a skyline to match. If you are expecting Chicago or NYC, then you'll really never match that in the US anywhere.
Also to add, Atlanta city proper is pretty small as far as population, but the metro is huge. Like another poster said, actual city size is deceiving.

How dumb do people have to be about populations?
The MSP metro area is 3.6M people, or 16th-largest in the US.
If you want to compare cities by city limits, Pittsburgh is the same size as Lubbock.

Went to MPLS (and other places in Minnesota) last summer. Absolutely loved it - but no way I could hack that winter. No way.
I have a colleague who lives south of Minneapolis. He said they had a day last week with a high of 1 and a low in the negative teens. frick all that.
Maybe once global warming takes full hold.
Hell, I even thought MN had better food than most places in the Midwest.
Anyway - whoever was looking for a brewery, I really enjoyed the ambience and beer at St. Paul Brewing. It's built out in the ruins of a massive old brewery.

Chicago is the 3rd largest city in the US. You need to brush up on geography.

They are home that day based on the current schedule... was thinking this might be an option but also not buying tickets early since the season might be delayed and then who knows what happens to the schedule.

I had a home I went to in the summer in New Brighton.
Use to babysit my grandkids in the summer and get out of the South Louisiana heat.
Summers were nice.
Winters nope do not miss the few times I went there.
