I just don't believe the cops are going to yell "gun!" and then shoot him in front of all those people unless they thought they were in danger. Makes no sense.

Well, it started in a car. Were you in my car?

I'm not condoning the cops' actions, but at the same time put yourself in their shoes...a man is brandishing a weapon at a gas station, was tased for resisting arrest and is STILL resisting AND had a weapon in his pocket. Normal people don't respond to cops like that.
Cops are regular people, they make mistakes. Everyone should question authority.
I think there is definitely a better way to handle this situation, but I'm not those two cops and I have no idea how difficult it must be to walk that thin line.

if a gun is brandished in that situation, the cop is already toast.

This is absolute bullshite. Do you really think that cop was just itching to kill someone? You're using the classic argument from ignorance. The lack of evidence that something is true is not evidence that it is false.
Why does it have to be such extremes? Is it not plausible that officers misread his intent? Once again, they could have every right to fear for their life, but it doesn't necessarily mean that Sterling was actually threatening their life. Mistakes happen, particularly in heated moments such as this.
I don't believe the officers were itching to kill anyone. I think the officer who shot him was legitimately scared for his life given how the situation seems to play out on camera. However, none of that means that Sterling was actually reaching for his gun.

At what point did the cops' body cams fall off, exactly?
Didn't they say they didn't have video because their body cams fell off?
Anyone?

Probably so. I'll proceed to stalk your posting history to try to figure it out.

There's a whole thread about it, and it isn't the big deal you'd hope it is. Now go away.

In 100% of these cases
The perp would still be alive if they:
COMPLIED ... with the lawful order.
THE END!!!!

What is insulting about my post? You obviously jumped back into the thread without understanding the context of the conversation that was taking place.

Tell me both cops cameras didn't "fall off" please. Someone, anyone.

I understand the context just fine. There is no comply or die issue in this situation.

You missed the point. I was pointing out that you were using an argument from ignorance to support your stance.

No, but thanks though.
Lie. If you've seen the video on Twitter and you can unequivocally say that it was a good shooting, you are 100% taking the officers' words in the video as fact. The only way anything is conclusive on either side is by jumping to a conclusion that hasn't been proven at this point.

I think the proof is that he had a gun and was resisting arrest. I personally do not believe a cop is going to yell "he's going for a gun!!" just so he can blast some guy, right in front of all of those people. It makes no sense, especially in today's times. I think it's reasonable to assume the cops thought they were in danger considering they hadn't attempted to use deadly force earlier, even though it was known he had a weapon.
