Again, awfully convenient the vids all start after the tasing began.

See, perfect example of someone who wants to see something that isn't there so they'll fill in facts as they see fit.

Wow. So there's no value in a full video??

I'm done responding to you

Does it really matter? 99% of CNN viewers already believe this

from just watching the video, its pretty easy to see why someone would think he was shot in the head as the last time we see the cops the gun is pointed point blank at the guys head and then we hear shots

I think it is funny so many people in this thread are believing exactly what the "witnesses" are saying after watching the OJ story where the old woman jury member was asked point blank if people on the jury, including, herself overlooked the whole trial in favor of an innocent verdict because of the racial tensions. And she said absolutely.

No kidding. Everyone is so desperate to have their MLK moment in the spotlight they do not take any time to choose the right moment.

Is it?

i thought so early, but the last article i read specifically said the gun is unconfirmed.

i think at this point though, given early feedback, no gun would be an unexpected curveball even if not definitively confirmed by police yet.

Okay one thing, why have vigils at night and not during the day? Only bad things happen in these type situations as night falls.

Would you agree death is a legitimate possibility in this scenario?

Yes, and I've said numerous times in this thread that cops were likely justified in their use of deadly force.

My point continues to be my issue with people who are making shite up to fit the narrative they've already decided. There is nothing clear in that video unless you want it to be. At best it is neutral to the officers' account and at worst it shows one of the most lethargic episodes of resisting I've ever seen. However, you have people coming into the thread saying it is clear he is reaching for a gun so he deserved to die. That is fricking ridiculous given then evidence we have at this point.

The other issue is that people confuse justified shootings with the optimal outcome. Just because you can shoot someone doesn't mean you played your cards perfectly as an officer. Surely there are things that can be learned from this situation, but if you bring that up people lose their shite as if you're defending Sterling.

You can not make an intelligent guess in this situation, nor any others. That's why it's a guess.

Look I'll be the first to agree that the cops are justified in shooting this guy if all that has been guessed is true.

But we just don't know at this point and may never.

I want to believe!

Eta just like there's no reason for the person filming the video to edit out the entire confrontation

Well that's just not true. I even explained the reasoning with pretty simple to follow logic.
