If they want to riot in SBR they are making the wrong decision.
Not saying I am there, or Livingston,'or baker, or anywhere else but we, and I mean people that work for a living, of every stripe and color, are tired of your bullshite.
You come here, and we will protect that which we work for.
Peace, for your sake

Ahh, thank you.

apparently going for the gun if Cop is correct. It appears he's reaching due to his head moving foward.
I've conceded as much - the cop thought he was going for the gun. People have said you can clearly see him reaching for a gun. Even you much appreciated screenshots leave you with quite a bit of inferences. You can argue they're reasonable, and I wouldn't suggest otherwise, but "clear" is the wrong word.

I know you have already stated that it was justified but I want to make the point that Alton sterling had many opportunities to avoid the situation where a subtle hand movement could be construed as reaching for a gun. The events before that escalated the response to his hand movements. It can't be spun to suggest every person walking the streets could be shot dead for moving their arm toward their pocket.

Is it clear he is reaching for a gun in an attempt to kill the officers? That is one helluva stretch.
Good thjng I never said that.

Fair enough, I'm not addressing you specifically. That is more for Pirate King.

Convicted felon with a gun. Not smart
Resisting arrest and getting tased. Not smart
Still resisting and on the ground trying to fight his way out of the mess he created. Not smart
Why should I feel sorry for this man? I feel sorry for his family and friends for the grief that HE caused.

I don't disagree. Could have just been struggling to fight with the cops and be a scofflaw. To a cop who detects a gun, "just struggling" is perhaps going to be perceived as trying to get his hands on that equalizer while getting the business.
That's exactly what I think happened.
He was moving his hands close to the gun and shite hit the fan because the cop was justifiably scared.

I think both cops seemed scared as shite. The non-shooter moreso than the shooter.

How likely are riots tonight and the upcoming days?
That depends on how much vacation time they have left...wait

Honestly, I've said the cops were probably justified a lot ITT earlier today. But that video...I just don't see how he could have gotten to the gun. They are both on top of him. I think they feared he could, and I get that, but they made a huge mistake. Unfortunate all around.

No reason to be scared, only rolling around on the ground with a 300 lb non compliant thug with a gun in his pocket
They handled the situation flawlessly.
This ain't even going to court.

Cops should have measured arm reach

Anyone that thinks he was shot because of his skin color is retarded.
Now you can argue he didn't deserve to die and all that stuff, but we are too lenient at times on criminals.
