nothing sends a better message than jamming out to a marching band in the streets, as if it is in honor of this guy.
What clowns

I do, I do want to accept it. Someone, anyone, post a screenshot showing his right hand, arm, or pocket before shots are fired. I've watched the video frame by frame. Nothing is clear other than the fact that the second officer is basically sitting on his right hip/waist.
Yea I guess you can't see it if you watch that grainy gif you just posted. Go watch the high Def video posted on Twitter 2 pages back and dispute this claim...
He is resisting arrest. His right arm moves up by his chest. The officer says he has a gun. Sterling is trying the free his right hand from the cops grasp. Sterling's hand then moves down by his side. The police officer yells "he is going for his gun".
If you require more definitive evidence then that you will never be satisfied

What's the address of the store where this took place?
Posted on 7/6/16 at 8:13 pm to LSUTANGERINE
Yeah but the cop said he was going for the gun, and when the other cop looked and saw what he was doing, that's when he shot.
These cops are going to wal the prosecutors through this video and get off.

You can see the other officer sitting/straddling around his waist.

You're either a troll or dumb

No. Excited utterances are considered more reliable than regular hearsay. "He's going for the gun" would be admissible if the guy dropped dead tomorrow and couldn't appear at trial.
Thank you for the legal lesson. Seriously.

Ok.
1) Right hand is free here.
2,3) Cop grabs the right hand.
4) Cop's hand after losing grip on his right hand.
5) Lose sight of his hand / arm, apparently going for the gun if Cop is correct. It appears he's reaching due to his head moving foward.

I have no doubt that at least one of the cops thought he was reaching for his gun. However it is not clear in the video if he was we only see shoulder movement. As I stated both shoulders and hands moved and the left hand certainly wasn't going for his left pocket. So we don't know if his right hand was going for the gun. It is not unreasonable to think that he may have simply been struggling. Still justified

How likely are riots tonight and the upcoming days?
Posted on 7/6/16 at 8:17 pm to Shooter
all they need is proof this guy had a gun in his pocket, and this case is over with. Everyone goes home

All of these people saying that he clearly is reaching for the gun yet not one of you can post a screenshot...

Look at this emotional stupidity just popped up on my wall
quote:
My greatest fear is that my son will have to grow up without a mother. That he will have to somehow get through the rest of his childhood without me. That my son will be at a press conference breaking down like Alton Sterling's son because I am dead.
Don't say it couldn't be me. Don't tell me that I'm 'not like that'. That I am a 'decent person', that I am a mother and a wife and there is no way something like that would happen to 'someone like me'.
My very existence is enough for it to happen to me. Tonight, tomorrow, next week. I could be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and my life would be gone. I would be just another hashtag. Another victim of police brutality.
What would they say about me? Would some people come out of the woodwork to talk about how I had bad credit? How I was married twice? How I got pregnant at 24 and I was unmarried? That my mother was in prison, my father a drug dealer and a rapist and somehow that all means that I deserved to die? What dirt would be dug up about me? Would that be my legacy to the public?
If I would die in such a way, I expect all of y'all to raise hell. I expect you to ACT. Don't sit around and cry about how terrible it is. Fight for me. Don't let my death be yet another tragedy that slips through the cracks.
That is what we need to do for Alton Sterling and all that have fallen before him. We can cry and weep now but what we really need to do is stand up and fight and say no more.
I have had a lot of my White friends tell me they are sorry today. I understand what the intent is but that isn't what I need, that isn't what Black people, what any people of color need. If you are sorry, don't tell me about it, take that and go do something. Get out there and do something. Be angry. Be upset. Apologies aren't going to solve anything; action will.

I don't disagree. Could have just been struggling to fight with the cops and be a scofflaw. To a cop who detects a gun, "just struggling" is perhaps going to be perceived as trying to get his hands on that equalizer while getting the business.

Someone posted a screenshot of hand movement. However both hands moved. He was could have been struggling, which still makes it justified . I move my hands all day long and only go in my pocket two or three times.

So now it's his shoulder.
Yea, it's clear as day. And I never said clearly reaching for the gun. I said clearly reaching. Unless he decided that was a good moment to start jerking it, he is clearly reaching with his right arm. For what we do not know.
