If it's a gun that's the only way it could be it? Have the police released info on the gun he was carrying? And 2 shots to the chest in you shoot the guy 4 more times. At that point you don't feel he's subdued enough to potentially get the gun from him. 2 shots point blank with a large caliber weapon directly to the lungs of a human.

And there's no evidence that he isn't either. THAT is the key piece of information for a prosecutor. Reasonable belief for fear of life.
Yeah of course. I'm genuinely confused by how many times people come in and throw down opinions as facts.
You can reasonably believe the shooting was justified, but taking it to the point of saying Sterling is going to grab his gun to kill the officers is ridiculous given the videos we've seen. You're (not you) making an assumption, so don't be surprised if someone rightfully calls you out on it.

Yea you can hold a full sized 5" barreled .45 at the right angle and it only look about as big as a small pocket knife.

Offices are probably trained to shoot until a threat is neutralized however many shots it takes.

I've probably watched these videos about 100 times each today.
Now I'm noticing how seemingly close the non-shooting officer was to getting in the line of fire himself.
This whole thing happened so fricking fast. I mean t

We cannot unequivocally say it was a gun, but based on their reaction, the way the officer threw it, the report of him brandishing a gun, and his mother ( I believe) claiming that he bought a gun for protection, I'm pretty certain that was a gun in his pocket.

And you could tell in the video his arm was still moving even after 6 shots. This guy wasn't stopping till his heart did

Have you ever shot anything with a handgun? Even at point blank range, you have to hit the central nervous system to instantly incapacitate something. With a 300 pound man, that ain't happening on a chest shot from a 9mm handgun. He would likely be very capable of shooting back for up to a minute after taking two to the chest.

Meh I can't tell if you are making fun of me so I give up. It's just fascinating to see how two irrational and emotional sides can make things up and people follow. The power of race.

Which is exactly what they were doing. But that doesn't fit the narrative.
Also notice how the cops say "God dammit!" And "frick"! After the shooting, hating what just happened. Blows a hole in the "cops love to execute black people" narrative.

I believe that's true, which is why i always get so frustrated when people go, "Six shots was excessive."
If you are justified in shooting, I say shoot to kill.
IF you are justified.
If you are justified in shooting, I say shoot to kill.
IF you are justified.

I watched the second one once and that was enough for me. Watching his left arm basically involuntarily move as blood is flowing profusely from his chest is about all I want to deal with in one day. Felon POS or not, watching a human die in that manner is rough, even if the cops are 100% justified.

the movement I saw after the six shots wasn't voluntary. It was awful.

That puts to rest the "shot in the back" angle

Is there any lick of evidence that conclusively shows him grabbing for his gun in an attempt to kill the police officers? No, no there is not.
You have NO IDEA what evidence the police have.

I saw the new video and Sterling's arm was under the car they were laying next to. He was reaching for his gun, which was located in the right pocket of his pants.
The reaction of one of the officers, who got off of Sterling, was telling. He still had his gun pointed at Sterling as if he was making sure he was no longer a threat.
Over the past several years we have seen several cases in which a policeman shoots someone and the shooting is simply uncalled for, this isn't one of them.
Someone called the police on Sterling, because he had a gun and pointed it at that person. He is a felon right? So it is illegal for him to have a gun. Its also illegal for him to sell bootleg copies of CDs/DVDs. Even if the police would have wrongfully shot him, he still put himself in the situation for something like that to happen.
I am not sure how anyone can argue in favor of Sterling. He attempts to reach for gun with his arm that wasn't completely visible. The gun was found on him, in the pocket he was reaching for. The police killed him before he had the opportunity to kill them.

I will never voluntarily watch these vids. It's a choice I've made long ago.
Descriptions are as bad.
It doesn't mean I don't care, I just don't want to see it.

Exactly. Guy gets shot six times point blank and the poster still thinks he's resisting or going for a gun because his arm is moving.
