This is the issue. She prob won't win shite, but you still shell out money for a lawyer and waste a lot of time. Nothing happens to her because some shite bag will take her case for free.

I used to work with two women. One was local and had a family, the other was single and grew up in another state. They were friendly at the office so the family woman invited the single over for Christmas since she had nothing to do.
At the house the family dog unexpectedly lurched up and bit the single woman. To be fair she was injured and needed medical attention / stitches. She later got an attorney and sued. The friend initially cooperated and supported the suit.
Things got a little testy when the suit settled for $100,000 and the plaintiff decided to quit the office job and use the money to pursue her dream of traveling the world while instagramming herself to all the chumps still stuck in an office cubicle. Meanwhile, the friend who so generously offered the X-mas invite saw her homeowners insurance rates skyrocket.

I have a friend who is married to a female OB/GYN.
She is clueless in the practical world. OT 7 to 7.5 though.
