Unfortunately Lafayette is still not doing well because the oil that’s pumping isn’t relative. West Texas and Deep Off shore.

Sanctions on Iran took about 1 million bpd off the market and supply hasn't caught up with that.

Brent will flirt with $90-93 and settle down to $77-80 before the year is through.

Doubt we'll see $100.

Bet WTI hits $78 and then comes back down to high $65-$68 range, especially when the Permian get pumping again.

That's a hot take considering most are saying around $100 come early 2019

WTI around $80 right now. Major pipeline issues currently. Big players have theirs locked in through M&A, little guys will feel the pinch. New pipeline will online 2019 Q3-ish and then it is truck nutz for all. Horizontal drilling/frac tech improvements will only make things more profitable. Permian stacked, OPEC fricked.

If you want to maximize investments over next 12 months look at players who are diversifying to offshore and WY. Devon, EOG, Anadarko, and Chesapeake are a few to watch. Powder River Basin is about to pop, relatively speaking.

Also, with the short term challenges in the Permian you could probably buy some stocks at discount as people bail.

I could get behind a $2.50/gallon price. Not too high for the consumer, and plenty of money for the O&G companies and their employees.

Many traders said these $100 bets face long odds. Option contracts used to speculate on far-fetched outcomes tend to be cheap, and if crude's rally stalls

From your own link. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I also wouldn't call it likely.
