At risk of getting sabotaged I’m just gonna put this out there. I’m mad too. I went to LSU. I lived there in my own as a young female. It must have been terrifying for Allie and my heart just goes out to her family. This should never have happened. I believe the theory that it was “2 thugs” that probably shot her up. But what we have here is a society problem. Those “thugs” were probably raised from the start in crime and drugs. How are they supposed to know right from wrong? They were probably raised by a single mom who worked a minimum wage job. The streets raised them. Every level of society failed them… parents, schools, media, etc. this world is broken. We all need to look at ourselves and see what we are doing to help the problem. Revenge will not bring her back.

Think about the first violent murder. One caveman killed another. Who failed them?
The answer is no one did. People inherently know that murder is wrong and that randomly murdering an innocent person is much more wrong.
But let’s suspend reality for a moment and play along with your externalizing blame approach. Every society teaches their kids this. Every society has rules that punish murder.
Do you honestly think these murderers did not know it was wrong? Why did they flee? Why not just stand there and watch what happens in the aftermath? If they fled, they probably had good reason to, right? What reason would that be?

And just who failed the poor lady that became the single mom? And schools? Give me a break. A bus will pick you up at your house with your free school supplies, feed you breakfast and lunch, teach you all day for free, and then give you a free ride back to your house.
And they STILL don't know not to unload a gun into a person sitting in a car? Lord, so much effort to blame anyone but the perpetrator.

I definitely believe that jail time and life sentences are appropriate. I’m not against punishment for crime. I’m just saying we need to take a hard look at our society to figure out why this happened to begin with.

It’s lack of personal responsibility- basically if you’re not taught that as a young child, you’ve missed out. You can’t force people to teach children, they don’t want in the first place, to be productive members of a society when they themselves don’t know how to do it either.

What we are doing to help the problem?
Society can’t even agree on the problem. We can’t even talk about the problem.
There is no excuse for murdering anyone. They weren’t hungry looking for food. They weren’t cold looking for a warm bed. Etc.
They have a government credit card to buy food every month
They have a government cellphone
They have section 8 housing
They have government healthcare
They have public transportation
What more can society provide? They need to meet everyone half way. Yea these systems could be improved but that’s not an excuse for murder.

Worst take in recorded human history. Not because parts of it aren't true but because this "society"- The Great Society, was achieved by design. This "society" didn't just happen, it was architected by a specific political coalition (Democrats) and is now perpetuated by a specific political coalition (Democrats). They killed the black family BY DESIGN and all these social pathologies were and are completely predictable.

It absolutely would save lives. This country is just too weak to do it. shite they are arguing if nitrogen gas is too brutal of a death penalty after sitting on death row for 25 years. You literally breathe, get sleepy, and fall asleep but don’t wake up. They don’t even have to start an IV.
