United Airlines has grounded all U.S. flights because of some type of automation issue. According to the Federal Aviation Administration's website the advisory is in affect for all airports.
Details about when the ground stop will be lifted was not announced.
The FAA didn't give any more details about the automation issue or what caused it.
United Flights in and out of Lafayette Regional airport are affected as well.

Fly Delta or Southwest. They don't get grounded they just collide (almost).
I would hate to be a United passenger today. Talk about the chaos dealing with customer service and getting on different flights etc. :prayerssent:

Rome, I know if you call UA you're gonna be on hold forever. Are you trying to get tovhouston or somewhere else eventually? If you do get through and are not going to only houston, see if they can rebook you on Delta or American. This is their fault so they should accommodate

I'd imagine everything stays on the plane for now.
