Jarvis will be back. It was popular in a community not well represented here. I don't like him, but the melanin enriched do.

Things change over time, but this is sad. Prior to Katrina, the TP was a great newspaper. Living in Baton Rouge, I read both papers. Most days, the TP would trump The Advocate by a day on most news...LSU, state government, etc. Once the 2nd generation of Manships took over, the Advocate became a finger-in-wind paper.
It seems a little better now, but having one organization control print media for all of southeast Louisiana may not make for a good situation.
Maybe someone should bring back Gris Gris !!!!!!!!!

This sentence is laughable.
Actually it’s really not. The Boston Marathon bombing broke here about 5 mins before it broke on the news because some poster was working up the road and saw it.
It happens a lot more than you’d be willing to admit.

Question about Jarvis because I’ve never read his work. Is he a good writer that race baits, or is he race baiter that writes?
Jarvis has gone from a good writer who is inherently racist and sees race in everything, to a character who constantly looks for racism so he can scream "gotcha", and if he can't find one, he will twist and turn things to give something an illusion of racism.

details of the story come from a reputable news source in a link
And by "reputable" you mean "another lousy media outlet that edits out inconvenient facts and cites unnamed 'sources.'
TD is full of misinfo, but at least it doesn't pretend to be "reputable"

Good grief. That statement is a complete and utter joke.
The "without bias" part is hilarious but this place breaks news stories all the time. You would be surprised at how many times you can tell local media will steal info from here. For every news story that "breaks" here there are a dozen insane ones that are factually incorrect

Funny you say that considering how much LESS new code is needed today than there was 10 yrs ago.
But it sounded good as IT-related jobs are in high demand. Carry on.

Seriously, you should have to learn decent grammar before writing code.
Which with even today’s copy editors slips into publications.
Now this is coming from a guy that can barely string a few lines together with a few mistakes.
