And when only one person orders “all you can eat”, it needs to be made abundantly clear that if anyone else is seen eating any amount, even a single bite, an additional charge will be placed on the bill for that person.

My wife worked at Outback on Severn while she was in college, there was a Luther’s next door who had all you can eat ribs on one particular night.
Black families would come in and ask for the all you can eat ribs, and she would have to tell them that’s at Luther’s next door.
Wouldn’t you know, a lot of them would argue with her her saying it was at Outback and she’d have to get the manager to explain it to them…

Was eating dinner at the Piccadilly on Essen Lane about 10-12 years ago. This black woman and her daughter, with clear water glasses, proceeded to help themselves to soft drinks from the fountain. It caught the manager’s notice and when he informed them he’d have to charge them for the soft drinks…well, that’s when it really hit the fan. The mother became so abusive of that manager, the sheriff’s deputy on security detail had to get involved.
I’ve often joked since then that we got dinner AND a show that night.

And the crazy thing is I can go to Albertsons or Winn Dixie and find them on sale and spend less for far more than I can eat than 1 AYCE order at a restaurant

If they were sharing with family that didn’t pay, that is theft.
My friend's mom took us to cicis pizza and didnt tell us she didnt pay for us to have drinks but got us all drinks with the water cups.
Well the manager came over and asked her to pay for the drinks. And yes, we were a group of white people.
This is why im so tired of black people. They experience something everyone experiences and claim racism.

It's a scam. One person orders the AYCE, others order the cheapest things they can, often just drinks or water (with lots of lemons and they put tons of sugar in it) and then the AYCE person gets as many crabs as they can, and as soon as the waiter leaves they start sharing with the table, then repeat the process.

We have a KPot place near us that opened up about 3 months ago. The servers as well as the menu makes it very clear that if you order a bunch of shite you're not going to cook and eat (it's a korean grill or hotpot at the table) you will be charged by the pound for the food you wasted.
One of the first times we were there, a family of 6 next to us ordered a bunch of shite but didn't eat it all. They were fricking livid when they got their check and they were upcharged about $50 for what they didn't eat. Owner took their picture and told them to get the frick out and never come back.
It was glorious.
