How many healthy 40 year olds has corona killed?

Not my point. I’ve said directly that I’m in all likelihood not going to die from it, but we need to mitigate the spread and reopen the economy. There are no actual good answers when it comes to dealing with this virus.

I just left Winn Dixie on Vets by the NOLA Parish line. I agree that 80 to 90% were wearing masks. I wasn't, though.

Is 392 downvotes a record?

Make that 393. I forgot to add mine.

First, as many have stated, it's extremely uncomfortable and I cannot breathe in one. In fact, I feel a bit claustrophobic the few times I've worn one. I never wore a Halloween mask for the same reason.

You sound extremely obese

A young healthy person wearing a mask for a virus with a 99.98% survival rate is the most ridiculous thing ever. If you are under 40, you have a better chance of being struck by lightning.

It's not to protect YOU, it's to protect OTHERS from you. Jesus Christ, how many times does this have to be repeated for mother breathing idiots to comprehend this? This no more complicated than 2+2=4.

You are an idiot.

The masks do not protect anyone, or anyone from you and in most cases just create another way to transmit germs due to improper wearing, improper touching, improper sanitizing and improper storage.

The mask in the real world is a joke.

Focus needs to be on keeping hands clean, and not touching your face.

That is 99% of the battle.

And what do the masks do? Oh right, put a barrier between your hands and face. You just disproved your own point.

It's completely reasonable to wear a mask to places you're going to be in close quarters with people.

Wearing a mask outdoors while exercising or just going for a walk is a little silly. I don't do it but if other people want to then fine, whatever.

Wearing a mask on your property or in your car while driving around makes you look like a fool.

Yes, it's this simple. To idiots on both sides, please take this advice.

This is an issue that has been researched in depth.

In a perfect world, mask usage is a debatable point. Meaning in a world where everyone understood how to wear, handle, sanitize and store a mask.

Even in this perfect non existent world the science is far from settled. Do some homework.

In the real world it is a slam dunk winner to say masks do not help and have high likelihood of making things worse. It's not even debatable.

Wash hands. Stop touching face. If you don't feel well stay home.

This is and was enough to manage our way through this situation.

I've been to some store an average of 4 times per week since 3/15/20. Never once wore a mask or gloves.
