Those people are just idiots, RtS. They're the fringe extremists who should be ignored, regardless of which extreme of the spectrum they fall on. Of course, these days those voices get amplified because they fuel clicks, ratings, and emotional responses.

That spirit of valor and bravery reflects the majority of police officers. Of course there are bad apples, but they are the exception, not the rule.
Somehow, thru liberal mindset being taught in school's and left news pushing ideology, the opposite is believed to be true... that most are bad apples.
Our country needs more individuals that thing for themselves, aren't willing to accept false emotional rhetoric screamed at us by liberal fascist.

I’m pretty sure the “defund the police” types didn’t say they were going to defund and lower taxes. They said they’re going to put that money elsewhere.

But they're not extremist to the Democratic Party. They completely control the narrative. Bernie Sanders, the Jihad Squad and the rest of the loony left won the primaries. Look at the platform Biden is running on. It is everything the nutballs advocated for. Biden is the nominee, but they won the primaries. To act as if "Defund the Police" doesn't mean exactly that is being purposely obtuse.

Bernie Sanders got his arse kicked by Joe Biden in the dem primary. I'd go so far as to say that was a fairly resounding defeat of the far left wing of the party.
AOC and her ilk winning dem primaries is no different than Gym Jordan, Louis Gohmert, or Devin Nunes winning their primaries, just different localities with different beliefs doing the voting.
I'm left of center (probably considered pretty far left on here) and I cannot freaking stand AOC or "the squad" or whatever the frick they call themselves these days. I assure you that they represent nothing more than a small but very vocal minority of the left.
