It’d Be like starting 1/4 of the way into the book. Yes, listen. Granted this is when it gets vicious, because even the Nazis were horrified by the Rape of Nanking, but you need the background.

Why wouldn't you? It's really good, and probably will be the most interesting of however many episodes Carlin turns this one into. The history of Japan leading to WWII is damn interesting and something we've tended to gloss over in this country. But if you want to jump right into part 2 I'm sure you can do that too.

So excited about this. Have a 5 hour car trip to go duck hunting next weekend and I now have an excellent pod to pass the time.

Anyone know if Supernova In The East is just a 2 parter or if there will be more?

Starting it now...man...gonna be a grim reminder on how brutal humankind has always been and still is now just under the surface.

Women don’t realize how bad for them if the progressives get their “revolution”.

I’ve been to the Nanking museum. If you have some liberal pussy who thinks we should apologize to Japan for nuking them, they’re clearly ignorant of this massacre. Bombing Pearl Harbor barely makes the Top 30 on worst things the Japanese did during that war. At least that was a military base.
