Every state should have a common sense law like this.

I'm guessing chemical castration would just make the testicles stop producing testosterone. Well that works unless the guy taking the drug discovers he could pretty much reverse that with low doses of testosterone injections.

Judging from the likes and retweets in this link, the law is pretty popular with the masses.

I agree with the premise, but how much is this going to cost? Its going to be like being on death row in Cali. They will spend millions per offender in appeals and never get around to actually doing it. Just kill them or throw them in a hole for the rest of their pitiful life.
All it is, is a right wing virtue signal law akin to mask wearing "mandates".

Unpopular opinion:

I don't like this. If they want to make it a capital crime punishable by death fine but to me this falls under cruel and unusual.

Most of us have said "cut their nuts off" before....I am sure I am guilty of having said it. But death is sufficient.

It only works as long as the person continously receives treatment (basically, as long as they are on parole).

Support. Assuming there is 100% proof for each incident.

I would rather be castrated than be in jail as a a convicted child molester.

I assume that would be a violation and is probably pretty heavily monitored.

If I were subjected to this punishment, my response would not be to stop molesting children and just start being a good citizen so that the people who fricking castrated me could all enjoy themselves.

Just throwin' it out there...
