There is a huge difference in the three states.

Louisiana is the most poorly run of the three.

But no one compares to the citizens of MS and AL. By far the most backward socially inept group of people in the country. Percentage wise.

Again Louisiana puts them to shame as far as corruption in public services. But the people of Louisiana are a little more advanced socially.

Agree with this, especially South Louisiana.

We are a melting pot, culturally.

Nearly 40 percent of voters pulled the lever in Louisiana for a Klan leader who praised Hitler. Louisiana was the last state to ban cockfighting. HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS were spent in the state post Katrina and was squandered so badly many of the problems still exist. We still operate under the Napoleonic code. Our leaders were so corrupt that the state lost untold billions in oil revenue. There are people in important positions in state government like Larry Bankston that served time or were disbarred for fraud. Our current governor was bought like a whore by the plaintiff mafia Nursing homes also own a piece.
Nothing says INFERIORITY complex more than someone in Louisiana calling out any other state for being backwards, corrupt and racist.

How so? Mississippi just legalized sports betting while LA did not.

We elected a tax and spend democrat all because he ran on honor code and fidelity as opposed to any real issues. We are generally one of the worst public education systems and that’s not solely due to the bloated bureaucracy, but the shitty parents in a lot of the public schools.

Also, the good people of Orleans Parish voted in a Representive who was in prison for fraud and bribery.

Same here. I can't wait to move back to Alabama. I'm glad dumbasses like the OP think that way about our beautiful state. Keeps shithead northerners from moving down and ruining the state, like Florida.

Mississippi and Alabama still don't have the lottery though.

Advanced socially in terms of acceptance of other types of people. We aren't nearly as segregated or homogeneous as Mississippi and Alabama. We have creole, cajun, etc. We have much more Catholic, Jewish, etc.

My friends (and wife) from Jackson, MS at Ole Miss didn't know any Jewish people growing up. They had 0 black friends. They were all either Methodist or Presbyterian. It is crazy how homogeneous it is, even in their largest city. Other cultures/beliefs are completely foreign to a large percentage of their population. Its actually pretty wild to talk to them about.

And while there is certainly segregation of sorts in Southern Louisiana, its nothing like Alabama or Mississippi. Northern Louisiana is more like AL and MS though.

I am not even talking about that.

I am talking about a completely different topic than political corruption. Did you read the next line of that post where I stated what I was talking about?

Kind of a "throwing stones in a glass house" situation when you live in Nebraska.

Maybe they just don’t support interracial marriage? Have you ever considered that? It has nothing to do with spite and hatred? You seem to be very intolerant of others beliefs.

Nebraska is better by leaps and bounds compared to Alabama. it's not even close. One state is usually ranked in the top 10 the other is like 49
