You're not going to put me in a position where I'm defending Alabama. It's terrible.

I'm just pointing out that Nebraska isn't exactly some bastion of fine living, so maybe lower the nose an inch or two.

But, it appears by most metrics, that Nebraska actually is an example of much better living than Alabama.

Where Louisiana or Alabama for that matter wallop Nebraska are intangibles. Particularly in New Orleans. Ask 1000 random people in other states whether they would rather live in Omaha or New Orleans.

Well after a quick Google search, they'll say Omaha. Damn near everyone of them would say omaha.

If by "intangibles" you mean shrimp poboys and Mardi gras, then forget it.

Both cities are comparable in size. There's plenty of shite to do in either one. The differences though in quality of life? Well....

No. Why don't you tell us and provide examples because I have the sneaking suspicion you have no idea what you're talking about.

Until 2005, Oral and Anal sex were illegal in Louisiana whether you were straight or gay. The law is STILL on the books but was ruled unconstitutional.

Fixed your post

It has long since been ruined by people from Louisiana & Mississippi tourist. Yet, they'll still come, bitching about the traffic they've caused, the trash that they brought, and so on. There are only a few gems unknown to most tourists, but it is likely only a matter of time until that disappears too.

You are right about that. How about someone do a side by side comparison of LA, MS, and AL

LA, MS, and AL are basically the same state with different accents and they seem to get progressively friendlier as you head west.

But the beaches get better as you head east.

And the majority there wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s fricked up.

You seem pretty infatuated with Louisiana and a Louisiana-based message board...yet you spit on it every chance you get. You sound like a miserable and confused person.

Gonna hit your with a hard truth - none of Alabama, Louisiana, or Mississippi are “good” states when comparing common metrics which states are ranked on.

Being a Louisiana native, I understand the pride everyone there has in it and see how the culture is the appealing draw.

That’s it. Just like Alabama, most other metrics suck sadly and the state will always be corrupt as shite in a way that doesn’t allow it to get out of its own way.

Most of us that left moved for a reason or 10, and many are never going to move back. There’s plenty of options in the states, plenty, that are better than any of those 3. I would not choose any of them to spend my life, only to visit for family, friends and fun occasionally.

Don’t worry, it won’t change anytime soon because the majority of us don’t want to go there either.

Fake news. It is a shitty state but incest is a southern stereotype brought on by northern states and just singling out Alabama. It just doesn't happen here anymore than it happens anywhere else in the south. Any fellow southerner using these jokes to feel superior to Alabama can just stop. You guys are classless, ignorant fool.
