I've lived in Baton Rouge & Montgomery.

Montgomery is by far the bottom of the list. Felt like I served a 3.5 year sentence while I was there.

Jackson at least has some decent suburbs like Madison.

Tallahassee is probably #1 on this list if you exclude the LSU & good seafood factor.

Tallahassee is as close to the coast as Baton Rouge

Florida State has more, and hotter women than Baton Rouge. Tally over BR by a wide margin

1. Baton Rouge - Family, LSU, easy choice for me personally.
2. Tallahassee - Only driven through, but seems like a decent college town. Con: Florida.

3. Jackson? - Closer to home than Montgomery?
4. Montgomery? - Never really been... seems like a shithole?

In Jackson most of the shootings are in the ghetto away from where most cough cough people live. In Montgomery, the shootings happen one block away from what used to be million dollar homes.

Montgomery looks like it was once an awesome place, but man I have no problems betting it's the worst capital in the South.

2. Baton Rouge - LSU. Not much else.

You can't credit Tallahassee for being close to Orlando and not give BR credit for being closer to NOLA.

I'd go with that order.

Seriously. In last 20 years or so(adult life) I've really grown to appreciate just how lucky we are to be so close to one of the most enticing and intriguing cities in the world.

He's a tard for leaving that off of allure of BR.

Pretty sure I could get a way better job in BR than any of those other dumps so I'll say BR and leave it at that. Those other 3? I would intentionally commit a serious felony and go to prison before moving to any of those.

If it was, it was pre-1980's. Cloverdale is ok but it's like a square mile and right next to the ghetto.

Yep. And Jackson smokes the Gump when it comes to entertainment and restaurants. Trust me, I'm from the Gump and my wife is from Jackson. It's a cripple fight, but she's right when she tells me Jackson is better. Thank God we only spend a week or so in each every year.
