It's insane! The entire state of Mississippi and Alabama are littered with them.

Well Jackson was a great town from about the late 40's to the mid 70's. In the 50's and 60's, I couldn't have imagined a better town in the south than Jackson. Downtown had upscale department stores, movie theaters, shops, restaurants, and parks. Now, outside of a couple of restaurants, all of that is gone. Long gone.
