As the father of a soon to be 3 yr old (Halloween 
)....I know the feeling that I get when she sits with me and we watch LSU baseball together (she loves baseball....football not so much may warm up this year since she is more into poppa at this stage). I can't imagine what it takes for someone to do this to or even watch this done to their child.
I hope these people die long horrible deaths and continue to suffer until the end of time in hell. I recall an old story about a man that was electrocuted who actually beat himself to death on the pole holding the chair up. The pain was that great but not quite enough to kill him so he beat himself to death. That almost seems fitting for these folks. He was frying for like 10+ minutes I think.

As others have said, that would be too easy for them.
This is a case where, like others have also said, bringing back some medieval shite for them. A slow, excruciating death is the only thing fitting b/c if they actually get life in jail, they will be brutally murdered by other inmates once their crime is known.

Wow. Don't get me wrong, I've got my share of overreactions towards my kids that I would love to have back, but I cannot imagine a person doing this. I won't even spank my daughter, so I can't fathom how someone could punch a kid in the head/chest/stomach.

because the methods of todays death penalty are crap. All you do is fall asleep and not wake up. That kid suffered and suffered, lying awake be herself. Being "put to sleep" is not a worthy punishment for scum like that.

My daughter turned 12 yesterday. I love her more than anything in this world. I could never do anything to hurt her,my son, or any other child for that matter.
