Savings on labor and materials reduced the total cost of the project by 15% and reduced waste by 55% compared to Alquist’s first 3D-printed Walmart expansion last year in Athens, Tenn., according to a release from Alquist and Walmart.
Advanced robotics enabled a five-person crew to complete operations traditionally requiring larger teams.

The 5,000 sq. ft. structure is held up 16-foot walls of 3D-printed concrete, and is only the second project of its kind, according to a recent release from Walmart.
While most projects of this scale would take a month, construction technology firm Alquist 3D LLC of Greeley, Colo., said they were able to complete it in roughly a week.

Just don't let Dollar General get this tech. They build them too fast as it is.

Nobody has ever built a building in seven days before this, guys.

And then some severe weather hits. Because you're right in the middle of Tornado Alley. The cyclone picks up a 3 ton hunk of concrete wall and hurls it onto an apartment complex/I 75/hospital. This will happen in the next several years. When, not if, it happens the engineers from Alquist 3D will be hiding in their ski cabins outside Greeley. I'd be curious to see the insurance prices and premiums and such on these pop up buildings.
