most states have a chart, based off gross income, highest in FL in the early 00s was 1900/mo.

I agree. $600 being a cap is too little

I think you're forgetting the part where child support isn't taxable. That's like 600k a year pretax

Not for someone in that income range that cannot take care of their own child, for which they are financially responsible. The child will be afforded an upper middle class life, have access to good healthcare, housing, food, and education. $360,000 is not some insane amount of money. It is enough to give this broad the resources needed to afford a life for the child that isn’t even on par with what the child would receive if raised by the father.
$360k/year puts you in the top 5% of households in America. That is way WAY above "upper middle class". That kid will get an inheritance in a couple years anyway when Al croaks. That 360 is gonna be used by the gold digger of a mother to go on trips around the world while a nanny takes care of that kid.

only if Al puts him in his will or Al doesn't have a will. Otherwise, the kid might not get a cent.

$30k/mo is top 4% in the US for household income. Now consider that it’s all post-tax - which means it’s equivalent to about $650k pre-tax in CA - top 1% earners in America

Yes, she’s now equivalent to top 1% of earners in America, bc she got knocked up

Insane that people think like this. If you could guarantee it actually went to the kid and nothing else I'd maybe understand, but these women and men blow this shite on themselves.

ETA: hate it almost as much as "single or stay at home" mom

I don't understand how a deadbeat dad is as loathsome as stay-at-home mom, assuming it's part of a two parent household.
