For the non-OT ballers who aren't midgets and also sit in economy class on airplanes- what are your thoughts on people who insist on reclining their seats when there is no room to do so? If you have to sit sideways and extend your legs into the aisle because of this- who is in the wrong?

Do you guys get into it with other passengers who are assholes?

People have the right to. With that said, its pretty assholish to do it in economy.

What airplanes should do is not allow reclining on economy seats. Problem solved

When is there no room to recline your seat?

When he’s trying to store his carry on by his feet and look at a laptop on the tray

They should do away with reclining seats is steerage. There’s not enough room for it and would probably save money.

Flying economy is willingly stuffing yourself into a cattle cart. All rules of etiquette go out the window as far as I'm concerned.

I’m reclining my chair no matter who is behind me. I’m not sacrificing my own comfort for some strangers behind me

If everyone on a plane reclines their seats, they each have the same amount of room as before. The only person that gets screwed is the last row but they picked seats next to the bathroom so frick them anyways

I never recline my seat and I'm 6'2“. Never flown over 3 hours though, so I can't say if I'd stick with that policy forever.

When you are over 6 feet tall and sitting straight up your femor is longer than the distance between the back of your seat and the back of their reclined seat.

4 inches does make a huge difference

This.........But I will add that anyone who reclines their seat in economy will rot for the rest of eternity in Hell & have permanent headphones drilled into their head with "Achy Breaky Heart" on repeat. Forever.

As long as the captain has turned off the seatbelt sign.

And there is plenty of room, you just too big.

I usually move my seat back about an inch...just enough so I’m not sitting straight up but probably not very noticeable to the person behind me.
