At my parent's place on the north shore, the AC turns on twice a day during the summer.
So where the hell made you think that we were even in danger of this? If you want to rephrase it to "Can you live in a poorly insulated home with a undersized unit that can't keep up?" The answer is yes.

They have ski slopes and man made snow in Dubai in the summer when it's 128 outside.
